Momsgiving in Black is a community-rooted celebration that centers and honors Black motherhood. Guided by the African principle of Ubuntu, “I am because we are.” This event affirms that the wellness of Black mothers, babies, and families is inseparable from the wellness of our entire community.
Our annual gathering will bring together Black mothers and caregivers for a day of community healing, joy, rest, and creative expression. The event is intentionally designed to remove barriers to participation by offering on-site childcare and transportation support, ensuring families can be fully present and supported.
